I graduated from the Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington DC in February of 2007. I received my National Certificate from the NCTMB in March of that year. After receiving my Maryland License--while living in Bethesda, MD-- I started my practice attracting clients who knew about the benefits of a regular massage for relaxation, fighting stress, as well as people who suffered from injuries, illness, or simply began to experience little aches and pain while growing older. In 2015 I became Board Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
In June 2008 my husband and I moved to Blacksburg, VA, where I am now certified to practice massage by the Virginia Board of Nursing. I estimate that I have given about 2,500 since I have been practicing here in the New River Valley.
I give Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Chair Massage. I include where called for some Cranio-Sacral Therapy, and also Ortho-Bionomy. Occasionally I add some elements of Reflexology for which I am certified. Pranic Healing is another modality I am skilled in. And finally you can ask for just a simple Foot Bath and Foot Massage.
I work in two locations: Mainly in Blacksburg, VA, and on Thursdays in Shawsville, VA.
